Hard running forward Sam Tagataese and utility Penani Manumalealii have won selection in a 23-man Toa Samoa squad for the upcoming Four Nations tournament.

Tagataese, who has completed a suspension after being outed for the final four games of the 2014 season for a dangerous throw tackle and Manumalealii, impressive at hooker when Samoa beat Tonga to qualify for the Four Nations tournament, will front for medicals with the rest of the squad on Thursday.

The medical and fitness testing will take place at the Sharks home at Remondis Stadium, with a training camp in Apia, Samoa to follow, with players departing on Saturday, October 10.

Matt Parish, an assistant coach to Ricky Stuart at the Raiders this season and also right hand man to Laurie Daley with the NSW Origin side, will coach Samoa.

Their first game is against England on October 25 at Suncorp Stadium in Brisbane.
