Sharks coach Peter Sharp has stuck with a winning formula by naming the same 17 players from the victory over the Warriors for this weekend’s clash with the Sea Eagles.

The Sharks put a frustrating first month behind them with the convincing victory over the New Zealand side, with Sharp no doubt hoping for similar effort against Manly on Sunday.

In this week’s team Tupou Sopoaga has retained his place in the starting side, while Jeff Robson came through the match unscathed after missing the opening four rounds of the season due to injury.

Robson’s combination with Todd Carney proved to be a vital component of the Sharks success last Saturday afternoon.

With the likes of Sosaia Feki, Beau Ryan, Luke Lewis and Paul Gallen due back in the coming weeks, competition for spots in the Sharks NRL line up is about to hot up.

The Sharks travel to Brookvale on Sunday to tackle a Sea Eagle team which is coming off a big loss to the Wests Tigers at their last start.

The match, which will be played for the Steve Rogers Cup, is scheduled for a 3.00pm kickoff and will be telecast on delay on Channel 9.

All three Sharks teams are in action on Sunday, beginning with the Holden Cup NYC match at 10.45am, followed by the NSW Cup at 12.45pm, before the main game at 3.00pm.
