The Sharks continued their support of Nova Employment by inviting staff from the local Caringbah branch and some of their clients to an NRL training session this week.
The group watched the Sharks go through their paces on the field then had autographs signed and photos with the players as they met and mingled with the NRL squad at the conclusion of the session.
Nova is a supported employment program that offers specialist job seeking assistance and post placement support. They find jobs in the general community, at award wage. Nova works exclusively with people who have a disability or significant barriers to work and have an excellent record of success and meaningful career development.
They have local offices in Engadine and at Caringbah, while staff from the Campbelltown office also supports people who are deaf or hearing impaired.
Nova invited the Sharks to attend their second annual Footy Day at the end of last season, an event which saw the Nova clients dressed up in the various team jerseys, with Isaac De Gois attending to present prizes to the winners of the yearly NRL tipping contest.
