Sharks supporting ‘Movember’

Front-rower Jon Green is sporting an extremely healthy-looking ginger coloured moustache, Wade Graham the ‘handle-bar’ variety, while Chad Townsend and Stewart Mills are slowing starting to show some signs of hair growth, albeit slowly.
Jayson Bukuya, Bryce Gibbs, Ben Ross and Tyrone Peachey are just some of the other Sharks players growing various forms of facial hair in support of what is an extremely worthwhile annual event.
But fans are asked to excuse them for what might be considered their slightly ‘unkempt’ appearance, with the Sharks doing their best to grow moustaches as they take part in ‘Movember’, an initiative which raises funds and awareness for Men’s health, specifically prostate cancer and male mental health.
Last year 854,288 ‘Mo Bros’ took part, in 21 countries around the world and in doing so raised $124mill for men’s health.
Registrations for Movember 2012 are now open, as are opportunities to donate, which can be done by going to www.movember.com, while a link to the site has also been set up on the Sharks website where fans can donate directly to the Sharks 'Mo Bro' team.
The ‘Mo’ is back, at least during November, with the Sharks happy to support the cause.
