2013 Sharks Membership launch

With the 2013 Sharks Membership program officially launched, Sharks fans can show their support by getting on board for what promises to be an exciting season ahead.
A talented playing roster, which includes returning stars and a handful of extremely capable new recruits, coming together on the back of a solid 2012 campaign, has the players, coaches, staff and most importantly the fans understandably optimistic about what 2013 could bring.
In videos recorded for the Sharks website Wade Graham spoke about the influence the home crowd can have on the team’s performance, specifically citing the local derby against the Dragons last year as an example of the fans being the 14th player on the field and helping to drive the Sharks to a memorable victory.
Luke Lewis and Michael Gordon, both former Panthers, are looking forward to having the Sharks crowd cheering for them instead of against after being on the ‘other side’ of the parochial Toyota Stadium fans on more than one occasion.
While Beau Ryan as a Tiger hated coming to the Sutherland Shire, knowing he was going to receive a hostile reception. He is also eagerly anticipating having Sharks supporters onside and is hoping to score plenty of tries and to becoming a fan favourite at Toyota in 2013.
But the common goal, as expressed by Paul Gallen in his open letter to fans a few weeks prior, is to have Toyota Stadium full in 2013. If the membership target of 10,000 can be achieved, that is what will result, with the team to run out to the enthusiastic cheers of a near capacity home ground at each and every home game.
“To have a guarantee of a big crowd each and every week will give us that added incentive to take those few extra steps next year towards becoming a genuine contender in the NRL competition,” Gallen wrote. “So we are calling on all Sharks fans to sign up to be a 2013 Sharks member and to play your part in our quest for Premiership glory.”
The 2013 membership brochures were due to arrive in letterboxes on November 5, with renewing members able to reclaim their seats for next season by logging onto the Sharks website or by calling the dedicated membership hotline of 1-300-sharks.
New members can also call the hotline to access more information about becoming a ticketed member in 2013.
Be a part of history and be one of the 10,000 members and show your support for the Sharks in 2013.
Note: 2012 members have until December 31 to renew their seats for 2013.
