2013 NRL DRAW

A round one Toyota Stadium twilight clash against the Gold Coast Titans has been announced as the season-opener for the Sharks, with the 2013 NRL draw revealed at Rugby League Central today.
The 6.30pm match up on Sunday, March 10 will feature a Sharks side led by NSW skipper Paul Gallen and including his band of new teammates such as Luke Lewis, Chris Heighington and Beau Ryan, as they tackle a Titans outfit entering a new era in what will be their first game without veteran halfback Scott Price.
Round two and it’s the Sharks travelling to ANZ Stadium to take on the Rabbitohs in Monday night football, while week three sees the Warriors travel to Toyota Stadium to play the Sharks on a Sunday afternoon.
Then in round four its a local derby blockbuster, with the the Sharks hosting the Dragons at 7.30pm on a Saturday night.
However the first few weeks of the new season are just a few examples of a number of exciting challenges awaiting the Sharks in the early rounds of 2013.
With the NRL for the first time supplying the day, date, time and venue for each match during the first 20 rounds fans have the perfect opportunity to start making travel plans for when the Sharks are on the road, while at the same time can enter into the diary the home game schedule for Toyota Stadium in 2013.
And if fans haven’t yet signed up for their 2013 Sharks memberships, with this release of the draw for the new season, now is the perfect opportunity.
So while it may still be 100 or so days away, this release of the draw for the upcoming season seems to bring it just that little bit closer. And it’s hard not to get excited about what lies ahead for Shane Flanagan and his Sharks in 2013.
